HamBINGO Mary's. On January 25, 2012 we had a fun evening of bingo at Hamburger Mary's in Bayview. Mary's drag queens drew the numbers, as well as our own Woody Bruce and Wanda for this fundraiser for Milwaukee MCC. It was a great success! Thanks to everyone who came, brought friends, and contributed.
 Mardi Gras Celebration. Fat Tuesday is on Friday this year! Join us on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 7:00 PM for our Mardi Gras celebration. We will have a casserole cook-off this year, followed by a great variety show. Do you have a favorite recipe? There will be prizes for the best regular and vegetarian casseroles. Don't like to cook? Come, eat and vote. For a small donation to the church, we promise a terrific, fun evening.
Ash Wednesday service. On Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 7:00 PM we will have a traditional Ash Wednesday service to commemorate the beginning of the Lenten season, highlighted by the distribution of ashes. Join us for this brief, moving service.
Membership Class. Do you wonder what Metropolitan Community Churches are all about? What we believe? What membership in Milwaukee MCC really means? Pastor Wendy will hold an informational meeting on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the church to answer these and other questions. 2012 MCC Programs. Make this the year to learn and to empower yourself to improve the health of our church. Our denomination has planned a number of exciting, inspiring programs to help you grow in your ministry. There's something for everyone. Find the ones that speak to you. Wednesday Scripture Study. Every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at church, join us for a discussion of scripture. We will make our way through the Bible one book at a time, not necessarily in order. We are currently studying the letters of Paul.
 Saturday Evening Service. A weekly alternative worship service began on December 3, 2011. We watch a movie at 4:00 pm, share a snack, then have a praise and worship service at 6:30 pm. We sing, read scripture, and have a lively discussion. Check out the Contemporary Praise & Worship tab for more details.
First Sunday Holy Conversations. Discuss religion, the Bible, Spirituality, and other topics on the first Sunday of each month at 12:30 pm after service. Bring a lunch and join us.
Board of Directors Meeting. Our next Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the meeting room. All are welcome to come and observe.
Movie Night is the third Friday of every month, but not in February! Movie night will be pre-empted this month by our Mardi Gras celebration. See above for details, and plan to join us for movie night in March.
Outreach Sunday is the third Sunday of every month. Come and participate in a potluck lunch and join the Ministry team that is right for you. Teams include Congregational Care, Buildings and Grounds, Technology, Music, Worship Planning, Stewardship, Transportation, and others. We are planning for this year's Pridefest and next year's MCC International Conference in Chicago.
