Every Saturday we celebrate worship in an alternative style.  Our Saturday worship experience is intended to have a less traditional, more contemporary feel.  We sing and talk about faith in our lives in a relaxed atmosphere.  We read scripture and other inspirational writings.

 

                          

 

We always share Communion because we in MCC believe the meal is God's meal for all God's people.  All are invited to partake, and none are turned away.

 

 

We believe in sharing our gifts.  So our approach to Offerings includes giving what we can to others, be it food for the hungry, clothes for those who need it, time spent helping someone who needs a hand, or cash.

                                                             

 

 

Come at 4:00 to watch a movie that may or may not have anything to do with what we'll talk about in service.  The only criteria is that the film must be family-friendly:  no explicit sex, violence or excessive cursing.  Whenever possible, films are shown with projected English titles.  All movies are free of charge and are shown under CVLI License #501519910.

February 18 - Soylent Green starring Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson.

 

February 25 - Apollo 13 starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon and Gary Sinise.
